MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay's multiple beauty title holder, Danica Barnard, could soon add yet another feather to her cap.
She was invited to participated in the presitgious New York Fashion Week 2020. She has been selected to be one of 40 models taking part from South Africa.
During the Fashion Week, international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press and the general public. The event takes place in Manhattan.
Designers choose their own models to showcase their designs. Danica will be modeling for Willet Designs based in Gauteng. Designer William de Beer of Willet Designs shortlists his prospective models based on head and shoulders photographs. Thereafter he uses a runway walk to make his final cut.
"Although I am a pageant model, I am very honoured and excited to walk the runway as a fashion model in New York in February 2020," says Danica.
