MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Police are investigating two separate reckless and negligent driving cases following one accident on Marsh Street and another on George Road this morning, 16 November.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said a 32-year-old cyclist was injured after he was hit by a car on Marsh Street. He said the man was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
It is unclear what the extent of his injuries is.
Twigg said the accident's circumstances are under investigation and that it has no connection to the Ironman.
In the George Road accident, which occurred at about 08:40, Twigg said two vehicles collided. He said the circumstances surrounding the crash are still being investigated and no arrests have been made.
