MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Passersby at Curro Mossel Bay would have thought themselves witnessing a magical, medieval arts festival on Friday evening, 11 October, as the school hosted its Night of a 1000 arts.
Held every second year, each learner in the school produces an artwork or two, which is sold at a reserved price of no less than R50 on the night.
Over the years, well-known and professional artists have also donated their work, which is then auctioned at this fundraising event.
This year, Curro opted for a medieval theme and guests, including entire families, dressed up to the nines to look the part.
Apart from delicious eats, the evening was given additional flair with musical performances including one by lyrical duo, Coffee Snobs.
Learners combined their outfits with matching masks.
Children's art is always a major drawcard.
Families went all-out to create interesting masks.
