Copper theft suspect arrested

MOSSEL BAY NEWS FLASH - Members of the Langeberg K9 Unit in Mossel Bay this morning arrested a man suspected of copper theft.

According to police information, 4 men were travelling in an Eastern Cape registered grey Volkswagen Polo.

Valuable information from the public led to the arrest of the suspect on the N2 near PetroSA.

The exact location from where the cables were stolen is being investigated.

The suspect, and vehicle, are at the KwaNonqaba police station where officers are processing the case.
