Community reels following robbery spree

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police urges the community to come forward with information to assist them in the investigation of a spate of violent robberies that took place between 28 and 29 August.

“We are looking for three suspects, two African males and a brown man. Incidents reported, shows the same pattern.

"The suspects are targeting single parent or smaller households, as well as people living alone. We believe that the robberies have been well planned based on knowledge of the area and those residing in it. The robberies took place in the early morning hours and victims were accosted with pangas. The suspects fled, in most cases, with cell phones and undisclosed amounts of case,” says spokersperson, Sgt Kappie Kapp.

Shaun Gelderbloem (alias Strale) and Emile Meyer (Emiltjie) have been identified as persons of interest that can assist the police in the investigation.
