Children rewarded for cleaning up environment
These children filled nine rubbish bags with litter.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The children in Ward 9 of Mossel Bay participated in a Trash for Toys swop on Saturday, 18 June.

The ACDP organised the event, held in D'Almeida.

The children picked up litter, which they were then able to swop for a new toy. Within an hour they had filled nine refuse bags with rubbish.

The ACDP's Jeanette Dreyer shared a short message on how we should be good stewards of what God has given to us. Catherine Hector of the ACDP prayed a blessing over the children.

Thanks go to Magnus and Sarina Africa, Don and Magda Seeley, Miranda Mrwebo, Catherine Hector and ACDP councillor Jeanette Gouws, who assisted the children and ran the programme.
