Police women in the greater Mossel Bay area were treated to quite a Women's Day event this year. What a festive affair it was!
Early morning guests arrived dressed to the nines and wearing lovely, floral garlands on their heads in honour of the feminine occasion.
After the welcome, several speakers motivated the women and commended them for their valuable contribution to the police service and for the role they play in making South Africa a wonderful country. In the course of the day, several fun items on the programme followed, with the colourful cupcakes being a tasty highlight. Several of the women remarked on what fun they had had simply spending some informal time with colleagues.
The day culminated with the planting of several little plants that will grow to be a testimony of the shared respect and understanding that stemmed from Women's Day 2017.
Sgt Kapp, although the only man in attendance, was up to the challenge to participate.
