MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Da Gamaskop Police are searching for information on an Opel Astra driver following a recent crash at the corner of Louis Fourie Road and Beach Boulevard.
According to a police spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, the accident occurred on 13 June and resulted in injuries due to the alleged misconduct of the Astra driver.
He said the police are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving after the unknown driver allegedly ran a red traffic light that day and collided with another vehicle. Kapp said the driver failed to stop and allegedly sped away from the scene.
Kapp has urged anyone with any information relating to the incident, or even the driver themselves, contact the Da Gamaskop SAPS, Warrant Officer Marizaan du Plessis (044 606 2235).
