MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba police have opened a docket for the investigation of an alleged hijacking in the early hours of Monday morning, 23 September.
The incident took place after 03:00 when a man travelling on Casino Road in the direction of KwaNonqaba stopped at the intersection.
The plaintive says a red motor vehicle passed him and blocked the road.
He alleges that three men alighted from the vehicle and walked towards him. According to his statement, the men put a cloth over his nose and mouth, causing him to lose consciousness.
The plaintive told the police he awoke, disorientated, in an unknown field later on Monday morning.
His vehicle was found abandoned in KwaNonqaba and was impounded by the KwaNonqaba police. The commercial crimes unit in George will be investigating the case.
