Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The bestiality case against an Ext 8 man (22) has been postponed again, pending forensic evidence.
The matter was heard in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court today, 19 October.
A case of bestiality was reported to the Da Gamaskop Police Station in mid-June this year after the 22-year-old had allegedly raped a male dog, Caesar.
The man was arrested shortly afterwards, and Caesar was taken to the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch for the treatment of his injuries.
The man appeared in court on 18 June, when he was released on a warning. The matter will be heard in court again on 9 November.
