MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 35-year-old businessman from Mossel Bay was shot last night, 25 May during an armed robbery at his store, Super Joe Shop in Gentswana Drive, KwaNonqaba.
The victim was seriously injured and is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the George provincial hospital.
Police spokesperson, Sgt Kappie Kapp says a preliminary investigation suggests that three suspects approached the shop at around 19:10. They threatened the shop owner. A shot was fired after which the three suspects fled in a white vehicle with a George registration number.
It is not yet known if the suspects fled with any goods. KwaNonqaba detectives are still on the scene, searching for any clues. Anyone with more information is asked to contact the police at 044 606 5608.
