MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Little Brak Beach is closed for swimming, today, 1 May, Mossel Bay Municipality has announced in a statement.
This follows the stranding of a Bryde's whale and sample taking.
The carcass has been disposed of. It is not known what caused the stranding.
The beach is closed for swimming because blood from the carcass leached into the estuary outflow, the municipality noted.
