GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - Keller Williams Realty Agency and Great Brak River Conservancy came together to organise a successful clean-up on Saturday, 30 March, along the beach and dunes of Great Brak River.
Along with the rubbish collected, 135 alien invasive Rooikrans were removed from the dunes in order to give the indigenous vegetation a fighting chance.
Apart from glass alcohol bottles, plastic and purposely dumped household rubbish that have become regulars at such clean-ups, there was a beautiful sighting of a Cape wolf snake.
Not only were those involved able to make a difference, but they also had a great opportunity to spend time together outside in the beauty the Great Brak River and nature has to offer.
Such an example of business and community coming together to further conservation efforts within Great Brak River is one that we can all follow within our own communities and green areas.
Along with the rubbish collected, 135 alien invasive Rooikrans were removed by members of the Great Brak River Conservancy.
