MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Leolan Academy, a school for children with special needs in Mossel Bay, is holding an event to raise funds for a new school bus.

A spokesperson for the academy said: "Our bus is giving problems, leaving us unable to fetch our learners."

Many of the learners are dependent on the transport the school offers.

Leolan has enlisted the help of celebrity make-up artist Willem Botha for the fundraising. A make-up masterclass will be held at the Mossel Bay Town Hall at 12:00 on 17 June.

Attendance costs R500 per ticket and includes:

•  A welcome drink.
• Snacks and wine on each table.
• Special gifts for each guest.

Willem will sing, give a make-up demonstration and bring along items from his make-up range, should guests wish to purchase make-up.
