MOSSEL BAY NEWS - It was reported on the Facebook site, Mosselbaai op sy Beste, that there was an attack on the rocks at Dias Beach yesterday, 11 March.
With the post was a photograph of a woman with a bleeding thumb.
The rocks at Dias Beach near the suburb of Boland Park are a high crime zone and the municipality has placed a warning sign on the beach, stating this. People are warned to stay away from this area.
It was noted on Mosselbaai op sy Beste that a written complaint had been made at a police station.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser has contacted the police and is still awaiting comment from the police.
Attempts to contact the person who posted on Mosselbaai op sy Beste have not been successful.
