KWANONQABA NEWS - Residents in Asla Park's Dywili Street were threatened with pangas and robbed in their home on Wednesday morning, 26 June.
The KwaNonqaba police responded to a complaint of house robbery at 04:30 that morning.
According to a statement by police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, when police members arrived on the scene the assailants had fled with a TV, cell phones and an undisclosed amount of cash.
"According to reports, four suspects forcefully kicked open a door where the victims were still sleeping, came in and threatened the victims with pangas, and then proceeded to rob them."
The KwaNonqaba SAPS detectives urged any person with information to come forward and contact the investigation officer, Warrant Officer Marius Swanepoel (044 606 5631).
