MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay art teacher Karli Stamhuis could not hold her usual end-of-year student exhibition in 2020 because of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
Therefore, she decided to create two videos - one each of her junior and senior students' artworks - and she posted them on YouTube.

Stamhuis' art school is called Kids' Art (Painting from the heart). She says she encourages her students to focus on the process, rather than the outcome, in their creations.
"There is no right or wrong way of doing things," she says. Each child may progress at his or her own speed. However, important principles of art are still taught, she notes.
