Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Sonwabile Mbambo’s (39) bail application is still ongoing. He is accused of murdering Heleen Annandale (62).
Mbambo was arrested less than 48 hours after Annandale’s body had been discovered in her Mossel Bay flat with a wound to the neck on Monday 1 September.
He also faces a charge of theft, as Annandale’s car was missing and later found abandoned in KwaNonqaba.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday 6 November, where his bail application will continue. He remains in police custody.
