MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A collision between a taxi and a bakkie on the N2 near the Engen Mossel Bay 1 Stop left 11 people injured this afternoon, 26 January.
KwaNonqaba Police Station spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp said the crash occurred just before 16:30 and that eight occupants from the taxi and three from the bakkie sustained injuries.
They were transported by various emergency medical services to nearby hospitals for treatment. The severity of the injuries is unclear at this stage.
Kapp said a case of reckless and negligent driving has been opened at the KwaNonqaba Police Station and that the circumstances surrounding the crash form part of the investigation.
