GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - Residents of Great Brak River and their pooches will again celebrate the "Freedom of the Beach" – even if only for a few hours. This will happen at the annual doggie walk fundraiser held on 16 December.
The Mossel Bay Council granted permission to walk dogs along Suiderkruis Beach.
While spoiling their dogs with a good walk, owners can contribute to the environment through the official beach clean-up. Recycled bags will be provided.
A donation of R50 for each owner and dog (on a leash), will also generate much-needed funds for a worthy cause - CAWS 4 PAWS.
This local charity for animals does not only run sterilisation campaigns but supplies funding, food, running chains and kennels to animals from underprivileged homes in and around Great Brak River.
