MOSSEL BAY NEWS EB VIDEO - Locals had a taste of the royal wedding festivities this weekend without having to travel further than Marsh Street.
Dressed to the nines, the guests arrived on the red carpet at the Monroe Theatre, based at Déjà Vu Vintage House to view a live screening of Prince Harry of Windsor and American actress Meghan Markle's special day.

The inimitable geriatric, Aunt Ethel, hosted the celebration.
She came out to tea specially to share some of the ins and outs regarding English tradition with the locals. She was quick to grab her hanky as her favourite redhead, Prince Harry, committed himself to his lovely bride.
Guests were treated to cucumber sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and marmalade and the pièce de résistance - a lemon elder flower cake with buttercream icing and a South African twist.

Judging from the lively chatter, laughter and spontaneous applause as the ceremony progressed, the guests would probably not have had a better time lining the streets of Windsor to view the happy couple's fairytale wedding.
