GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is appealing to the public to urgently donate blood.
According to Arlecia November, spokesperson for the transfusion service, they are experiencing critically low levels in stock of the O blood type.
"We have only two days' supply left. We urgently need the public to come out and donate. thank you to those who have already done their bit to donate."
It takes just 30 minutes to save someone's life through blood donation.

Donors can donate in George today at the Medical Centre, Courtenay Street, from 10:00-15:00.
