MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The annual Life Healthcare Achievers' Awards function was held on Friday, 5 October in Johannesburg.
Life Bay View's hospital manager and three of the hospital's senior managers attended this prestigious event.
The Life Healthcare Group consists of 63 acute hospitals countrywide.
Mossel Bay's Life Bay View Private Hospital scooped three of the 12 categories awarded on the night, namely:
- Nursing team of the year
- Clinical Cardiac Excellence – acute myocardial infraction (AMI)
- Quality and Clinical Excellence and Patient Satisfaction
Once again, Bay View Hospital was the winner of the most categories of any single hospital in the Life Healthcare group.
The hospital manager, Lida Swart, was appreciative of the awards: "It just serves to confirm the dedication of our employees and the rest of the multidisciplinary team.
