MOSSEL BAY NEWS - On Saturday, 2 September Hartenbos parkrun had their 129th event with 182 people that came out to celebrate the Spring day.

Sibusiso Kumalo and Hannes van Broekhuizen did their 50th event as volunteers and another person, Gerold Whittaker did his 100th event as volunteer. 

However, what made this day very special was that the participation of the youngest parkrunners at Hartenbos parkrun do his 50th event. 

Tihan Labuschagne, though only eight years old has in total run 250km at Hartenbos parkrun. His personal best so far at this event is 39 minutes and 24 seconds.

Tihan is a Grade 1 learner at Curro Mossel Bay.

Ita Janse van Rensburg (events co-ordinator), Sibusiso Kumalo, Hannes van Broekhuizen and Werner Morkel-Brink (Run Director) celebrate the fiftieth run by Sibusiso and Hannes.
