MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A film and drama teacher is offering a free online course to two children from Mossel Bay.

The children must live in the greater Mossel Bay municipal area to be able to enter. 

The value of each online course is R500 and the courses are eight weeks in total.

The lockdown has forced teachers to think creatively and broaden their services to their students.

Jennifer Pietersen, who owns Voice In Action Film & Drama Academy, told the Mossel Bay Advertiser: "I give speech and drama, as well as film acting, filmmaking and special effect make-up classes, which children really enjoy."

Those who wish to enter Pietersen's competition can do so in either of these categories: Drama Kids' class (age five to 11) or Drama Teens' class (age 12 to 18).

WhatsApp a video, maximum length of 60 seconds, to Pietersen on 072 298 1013 of your child acting, performing or doing a monologue by 17:00 on Thursday, 18 June.

The winners can start at any time and the eight weeks can be done at the students' own pace.

The two winners will be notified directly and their names will be published here on www.mosselbayadvertiser.com
