MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay lived up to its name of being "the town of festivals" last weekend.

From Friday, 1 November, lovers of the great outdoors had a blast at the first Garden Route 4x4 Festival on the farm, Bartelsfontein. 

There was plenty to see and do for young and old. and as the expo concluded on Sunday, a lucky draw winner drove home in a Nissan Micra.

For those who preferred a festival atmosphere in town, there was the Garden Route Port Festival, offering a host of activities in near-perfect weather.

To top this, Mossel Bay added its irrepressible delight to the rest of South Africa's joyous cheer at the Springbok victory in the Rugby World Cup final on Saturday, 2 November.
