MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The monthly Iconic Art Splash creative event took place at Marguerite Coffee & Art cafe in Mossel Bay on Saturday, 6 May.
The event, held on the first Saturday of each month, includes open mic sessions.
There were singing, spoken word, guitar and keyboard numbers. A highlight was creative signing by a deaf, blind and South Afrian Sign Language interpreter. She did passionate creative signing to Christian songs, including Amazing Grace.
A teacher had a "story corner" under a tree, where she read stories to children and two local artists were there, painting in the grounds. One did a mural and the other had set up her easel and was busy with a canvas.
