Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - One of the Mossel Bay Zipline crew members, a man aged 59, died of a heart attack just after 07:00 today.
An ambulance was called and emergency first aid given, but the man, Marius Boshoff, was declared dead at the scene.
A zipline spokesperson said: "A member of our personnel had a heart attack this morning before shifts began. Emergency personnel rendered first aid. After a period of treatment, the staff member was declared dead of natural causes.
"We extend our sympathy to his family and friends and to our crew."
The zipline spokesperson said Boshoff's next of kin - a daughter - had been informed of his death.
The zipline remained open today.
It is at the Point in Mossel Bay, where the St Blaize lighthouse is situated. The zipline provides a ride on a cable overlooking the sea. One is strapped into a harness for the ride.
