MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Mossel Bay Municipality can confirm that authorisation was received for the breaching of the Hartenbos River Estuary.
The municipality is in the process of appointing the contractor and hopes for the work to start either this evening or tomorrow morning.
This follows reports of dead fish in the estuary that resulted in both the Hartenbos River Forum and the municipality conducting tests on the water quality to investigate a possible cause for the incident.
