MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Zolani Youth Choir is practising at the Dias Museum in Mossel Bay today.
The choir, founded in 2012, is from Ashton in the Western Cape and on its way to the Eastern Cape, on an educational tour.
Today they are practising at the Dias Museum complex. The choir consists of 45 members, aged 12 to 25. Those who are learners represent various schools.
Conductor, Odwa Mvunge told the Mossel Bay Advertiser the choir practised this morning and then again from 14:00 to 16:00 today and the public are welcome to come to watch.
“Singing and engaging in a choir teaches the members discipline and morals and helps them to look at the world with a different perspective,” said Mvunge.
