MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Tourism has appointed Lieschke Steven-Jennings as its new chief operations officer.

Lieschke started at Mossel Bay Tourism in September 2020 as a membership liaison officer, a position she held for two years.

In September last year, she became the acting chief operations officer.

At the start of this year, Mossel Bay Tourism began advertising the permanent post of chief operations officer to the public. Over the last two months, several highly qualified candidates applied and after a rigorous interview process, Lieschke was selected for the role.

She has extensive experience in training and development, project management and event planning.

She spent 20 years promoting Qatar as a tourist and education destination.
