MOSSEL BAY NEWS - In a combined effort, the Benevolent Park senior citizen's complex Golden Girls group and Piecemakers Quilt Group made a donation to the police in Mossel Bay.
Beautiful handmade teddy bears were handed over to the Mossel Bay Police Station's Sergeant Kay James and an intern, Heraldine October, for the police's victim support centre.
In return, Sgt James donated some police safety whistles for the Benevolent Park residents.
"We thank you and the police for keeping the safety of our elderly a priority," said the Golden Girls and the Piecemakers quilt group.
