MOSSEL BAY NEWS - You are invited to a soulful, fun-filled family event, which is easy on your pocket this Saturday, 10 August as Mossel Bay hosts its second Soul festival.
The ideal preamble to the festival is Women's Day on Friday, 9 August.
The festival grounds on Market Street, historically the heart of Mossel Bay, where traders and locals congregated, will be abuzz from 10:00 until 17:00 on Saturday, with buskers, dancers and more.
The kids' carnival will provide fun activities for the young ones. Bring junior to the Klikkerland performance, to meet a superhero or to pose for a selfie with a princess.

Find a treasure in the lucky draw or let the little ones enjoy having their faces painted or playing in the inflatables section.
For those who love performing, there is an open mic event and a dance-off competition or if your youngster is a budding artist, let him take part in the art competition.
There will be Airsoft games which have their roots in military simulation. Worried about your toddler? Fear not, as there will be a dedicated area for pre-schoolers and toddlers.
Highlights of the day will include a festival of wine, live entertainment and a comedy lunch hour, hosted by the inimitable Aunt Ethel and featuring local storytellers such as Terry Olckers and local chefs as well as funny man Moses Williams, specially imported from George.
The entertainment programme features the best of local talent brought together by cabaret diva Petronel Baard and Youth Café facilitator and Mossel Bay's Got Talent judge, Max Makoko.
Also, for the fashionistas, make sure you don't miss the celebration of fashion, as models take to the stage at 15:00.
For the adventurous culinary explorer, be on the lookout for stalls selling culinary delights from all over Mossel Bay. Other stalls will offer arts, crafts and handmade goods. Also be on the lookout for the pop-up museum, featuring some of Mossel Bay's treasures on exhibition by a private collector.
Entry to the festival is free. For more information, visit www.soulfestival.co.za
Catch the acclaimed Tanya Storm on stage.
