MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Skål Garden Route hosted an event on Wednesday, 26 October at Reed Valley, a venue just outside Mossel Bay, off the N2 on the road to Herbertsdale.
It is an international association for travel and tourism professionals, founded in 1934 in Paris. Skål International's motto is: "Doing business amongst friends.'' There are 310 clubs in 84 countries worldwide, with a total membership of 12 904.
The Garden Route club consists of 46 members and the area stretches from Albertinia to Tsitstikamma and Calitzdorp to De Rust, including Prince Albert.
Riaan Jordaan, Skål Garden Route club president, was fortunate to attend the 2022 Skål World Congress held in Croatia, with 350 people in attendance.
This was the first in-person congress since the onslaught of Covid-19.
The next Skål Garden Route event will be at De Vette Mossel restaurant near Great Brak.
