MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Bathers are advised not to enter the surf on the Mossel Bay side of the Hartenbos Seefront development.
Sewage has spilled onto the beach and may reach the sea from a pump station in the vicinity - it is a serious spill and it is unlikely to be sorted out soon.
At this stage, lifeguards are advising beachgoers not to enter the beach or the surf.
The reason for the spillage is being investigated, as soon as more information becomes available, the public will be kept updated.
