MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Wednesday, 17 March is St Patrick's Day.
It is a day to wear green and celebrate all things Irish.
St Patrick was the patron saint of Ireland and he spread Christianity throughout Ireland, which was mainly pagan at the time.
It is believed he died on 17 March, AD 493. The symbol of St Patrick is the shamrock or clover. Legend has it that St Patrick used clover with three leaves to illustrate the trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Send your St Patrick's Day photographs to us (lindas@groupeditors.co.za or WhatsApp 084 589 4741) and we will publish them in the newspaper or on our website or Facebook page.
