The group that was released started arriving in July after being picked up from Glentana, De Bakke, Great Brak, Wilderness and Santos beach where they had washed out.
At SAPREC they were cared for until they were strong enough to go back into the big blue ocean, but just before they were released, they paid a visit to the Vet for a final checkup which they all passed with flying colours.
With much love Carol Walton from SAPREC and two volunteers; Theresa Febbraio and Wilma van Aardt, helped the five find their way to the waters edge.
