MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Fish Mahlalela, the national deputy minister of Tourism arrived in Mossel Bay at 14:00 to visit the Zipline.
He is on a tour encompassing George, Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn incorporating historic Pacaltsdorp in George and the Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn.
He admitted he was not certain if he would ride the Zipline himself but added: "I am here to see what it is all about." He is eating at a restaurant alongside the Zipline afterwards before departing for the Oudtshoorn attractions. He was in George this morning.
This is his first ever visit to Mossel Bay.
He is promoting local tourism and encouraging South Africans to explore in the country seeing that borders are still closed for international travel.
