MOSSEL BAY NEWS - It is voter registration this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 18 and 19 November.

Registration venues are in all wards of Mossel Bay and the local branch of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has confirmed that all venues will be open between 08:00 and 17:00 on both days.

Here is a handy list of the venues where one can register to vote. One should register at the closest voting station to one’s home address.

The Department of Home Affairs offices are open on Saturday and on Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00 for the collection of ID documents so that voter registration can take place.

ID applications can also be done.

The Independent Electoral Commission also offers the option of online registration at: www.elections.org.za/.

IEC staff are also available to members of the public, especially groups such as senior citizens in retirement homes, to visit and go through registration.
