MOSSEL BAY NEWS- Pacaltsdorp United remain unbeaten and top of the log after Saturday’s matches in the Six Gun Grill SWD Premier League competition.
The defending champions (192 all out) recorded a 130-run bonus point victory against Knysna Cavaliers (62 all out).
Liyabona Malife bagged 6/34 while Warren Bell made 69.
Both Union Stars I and II recorded victories. Union Stars I, at the Bridgton Sports Grounds, posted 211/7 and thereafter dismissed Mossel Bay for 140 for a 71-run victory.
Union Stars II (189 all out) were victorious by 10 runs in a close encounter against George (179 all out) at Rooirivier-rift.
Plett Pioneers posted only 113 runs against Harlequins Forces at the Military Sport Club in Oudtshoorn, of which Graeme Johnson made 50. For Harlequins, Rhupiono Plaatjies took 3/5. Harlequins responded with 114/6 (in 17.3 overs) for a four-wicket bonus point victory.
