MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A successful parade in memory of the "Border Boys", who died in the Border War, was held at the Cenotaph at the Point in Mossel Bay earlier this month.
It was well attended.
A touching part of the ceremony was the rendition of The Last Post and Reveille by violinist Anri Stenden.
Old Bill Mel Wainwright, of the Memorable Order of the Tin Hats (MOTH) Blaize Away Shellhole in Mossel Bay, thanked the public for its support. He was the parade commander.
Councillor Anton Dellemijn and his wife, Annemarie. Councillor Dellemijn represented the Mossel Bay Municipality.
