MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A virtual open mic concert in aid of the Mossel Bay SPCA is taking place on Women's Day, Sunday 9 August. The concert is a Lang Vrou Produksies event. It will take place at 19:00.
The concert is completely free to watch, but a "virtual hat" will be available so that people can make a donation to the SPCA.
Most of the artists participating are part of the Mossel Bay Creative Cultures Association (MOCCA). They will include Petronel Baard, Stef Kruger, Karin Cupido, Antoinette Snyders and more. Each artist will send in a home video of themselves performing.
A highlight of the show will be Ronel Marais, who does creative signing for the deaf.
