GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - This year the Great Brak River Museum concludes its Heritage Month celebrations with an open day on 2 October, when it will be showing and telling the story of the many changes that have taken place since 20 years ago, when an association of friends was formed to take over the running of the museum.
The museum has since doubled in size and consists of interesting artifacts, stories and exhibits of events that have taken place in the village from the time Charles Searle began the operation of the toll bridge in 1859.
The transformation exhibition of the museum will be officially opened on Wednesday, 2 October at 10:00. Tea will be served thereafter.
