New Year Babies born in Mossel Bay
Patrenda Socks had the first New Year’s baby, a boy, weighing 3.31kg, who was born at 00:52 on 1 January 2023 at the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital’s Maternity Ward.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS -  The night staff at the Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital's Maternity Ward was extremely busy with four New Year babies being born from after midnight on 1 January and again in the evening at 19:50.

Patrenda Socks had a baby boy at 00:52 who weighed 3.31kg at birth. Anastasia Michaels's baby boy was delivered at 04:15, weighing 2.7kg. Sasha Lee Kennedy had the first little girl on New Year's Day.

She was born at 05:23 and weighed 3.06kg. Annemarie Bruintjies had a baby boy at 19:50 on 1 January 2023 who weighs 3.14kg. 

According to Sr Ziphelele Makasi who delivered the first baby born on 1 January 2023 at 00:52 they had an extremely busy night, but all went well, and the babies and mothers are all healthy.

Anastasia Michaels gave birth at 04:15 to a male baby weighing 2.7kg
