MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Community Policing Forum bade a sad farewell to its long-serving chairman, Edgar Ntebe, at the end of last month.
A new chair and executive committee were chosen on 29 March during a meeting at the Siyanithanda Centre for the Disabled.
Representatives from the Mossel Bay Municipality as well as the Department of Community Safety attended the meeting.
The newly elected chair is Shadrack Shishana.
"We are grateful for the commitment of Mr Ntebe and sad to see him go, but we are equally excited about Mr Shishana steering the CPF," a spokesperson for the forum said.
