MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The suspect in a murder case was arrested last night, Tuesday 29 December, by detectives of the KwaNonqaba Police A-Shift after a tip-off from the community.
The officers arrested the suspect a day after the murder took place.
There was a warrant out for his arrest after a man was shot in the head and later died of his wound in hospital.
The shooting took place in Mbandezi Street, in an informal settlement in KwaNonqaba, Mossel Bay.
It is alleged that the suspect shot his stepfather, aged 51, at 20:40 on 28 December.
“The KwaNonqaba Police management team thanks the community for its assistance and praises the detectives for their efforts,” spokesperson for the KwaNonqaba Police, Sgt Kappie Kapp, says.
