Verskeie televisie-nuusspanne was teenwoordig.
Netwerk
Natalia was in haar tuisland by familie toe Rusland Oekraïne op 24 Februarie binneval.
"Hierdie mense doen wonderlike werk.
According to the words of our mayor Ihor Terehov, more than 500 blocks of flats are destroyed. People lost their flats. Some people died, most of them are living in cells, underground stations, and tents. Very many houses stay without windows, they have no running water, heating, and electricity.
People have nothing to eat because there is no food at the shops and supermarkets. I delivered supplies on street XXX. Two very old people lived there. Unfortunately we could not take a photo of them because of the intensive military shooting. They gratefully took the delivery and cried with joy.
Another supply was delivered to XXX. A very old and sick woman lives there. She burst out crying, having received the supplies as she had had nothing to eat for two days. Many supplies were delivered on XXX.
Many elderly people and people with children came to my car to take their supplies. They were happy and even sad that we saved them from hunger and dehydration. You are one of the first sponsors giving the humanitarian aid. Everybody thanks you gratefully, and wishes you all the best.

Venter told the Mossel Bay Advertiser this week that since 7 March, monetary aid has been given in order to allow Ukranians to buy necessities, which is being distributed through internal networks.
Venter said that the Ukrainian Association of South Africa too joined hands with Gift of the Givers.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser, through its Oliver Twist community project supports the Gift of the Givers aid project in Ukraine.
The Oliver Twist Project deals in goods and not money. Since the transport and distribution of goods to Ukraine is problematic, the community of Mossel Bay and surrounds is requested to make monetary donations directly to Gift of the Givers, should they want to offer aid to Ukrainians.
Venter confirmed that Round Tables of the South Cape area as well as this sister organisation Ladies Circle, will be channeling relief to where it is desperately needed in the various points within the Ukraine in order to supply the many refugees with food and medical supplies.
