MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Vuyolwethu (Vuyo) Mfumbe was born in Mossel Bay, raised in KwaNonqaba and he is now based in Elangeni.
Here he is currently training, grooming and coaching youngsters in modelling, life skills, dance, drama and public speaking to help them to become their dream and to be confident, responsible, respectful citizens.
He works full time at the Garden Route Casino as a casino host and guest relations officer and runs his own events management company, Vuyolwethu Mfumbe Entertainment.
Vuyo says "every child is my child" because he believes in bringing back the spirit of humanity or ubuntu.
Vuyo is always ready to serve the community of his home town. His next charity drive will happen on 27 April, Freedom Day at the Creating Effective Families shelter for abused women and children.
"I am currently collecting clothes and charity items for this outreach."
Mfumbe needs the community to assist him by donating money and charity items that will enable him to represent Mossel Bay in Johannesburg when he represents Eden at the Mr Commonwealth South Africa crowning event in August.
Businesses can also assist Vuyolwethu by sponsoring him to support his journey during the competition.
"There’s excellent exposure in return for your sponsorship," says Vuyo. The purpose of the Commonwealth SA competition is to empower, inspire and motivate men to become men of value. For more information, contact Mfumbe (064 401 3751).
