MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Despite begin one of South Africa's brightest stars with an undeniably large fan base, Lira leaves Mossel Bay with even more devotees after her stunning performance at the Garden Route Casino's Bravo Lounge on Saturday night.

The megastar surprised her audience, who waited in anticipation for her to appear on stage, by entering the venue from the back and weaving her way through the appreciative crowd.

Apart from entertaining her fans with some of her classic tunes, to which they keenly sang along, spurred on by the stunning songstress, Lira's Be About It tour was scheduled to promote her sixth studio album, Born Free.

Being the perfectionist she is, she quickly commented on a small technical glitch, but in the spirit of a true professional, delivered a stunning performance nonetheless.

From the onset of the show, it was clear to see why the lovely Lira has won multiple industry awards including 12 South African Music Awards, MTV Africa Awards, Channel O Awards and Metro FM Music Awards.

She wrapped her fans around her beautifully manicured pinkie finger and won hearts afresh, making the audience sing along, dance with gusto and showed them how to walk out after the show with a feel-good bounce in their step.

After her show, she took time to meet and have a word with fans, with the parting words that she would return to Mossel Bay with pleasure.

Earning a well-deserved standing ovation, Lira graced her audience with no less than two encores, one during which she got really up-close and personal with her audience, sitting on the stage with the appreciative crowd moving ever closer to this bright, shining star.
