MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Cecilia Fillies is a pillar of the D'Almeida community.

She holds a Christmas party at her home in Alhof Drive every year for children in her neighbourhood, with the support of the community and generous donors.

Members of the community of Mossel Bay joined her Christmas party for children, held on 23 December, in Alhof Drive, D'Almeida.

Stationery, which will come in use when the children start their first day at school tomorrow, and food were handed out to the children.

Motherhood

Mossel Bay resident Lindsay Ehlers has supported Cecilia's Christmas party every year and she says: "Motherhood is the most beautiful place to be and it is a large task to tackle every day. Motherhood is worthy of praise. Cecilia is a mother and a good friend."

Thanks

Cecilia, who works for the Mossel Bay Municipality, thanked each person who helped to make the party a success. She also thanked the following Mossel Bay Municipality departments: Building Control, Town Planning, Streets and Stormwater and the Engineering Department.

The ACVV Mossel Bay was also among her supporters and Cecilia thanked them too.
